Lincoln tweeps meet for a jar (or two) #FridayDrinks
We are gathered here to morn the passing of the first #FridayDrinks Lincoln tweetup. Folks from around Lincoln who had made connections on Twitter of one kind or another met up to share their experiences of the beloved communications platform. There was much reminiscing over refreshments and as the night unveiled itself; these fine people bid their fair well and slipped away with great respect. Such was the first #FridayDrinks Lincoln tweetup.
... ... ... Hang on... Yay! - What a great night :-D We had ten of Lincoln's finest twitterati turn up with some great discussions. Now I know I should detail some of those discussions, but it was a casual meet with no minutes and my memory is a little sketchy :-*
Next Meet - I think I'm right in saying everyone enjoyed the evening and are up for another tweetup. From discussions later in the evening we figured that perhaps a monthly #FridayDrinks might be the way to go. So if you missed out on this one and are anxious to meet some of the fine tweeps you've been following; then get your diary out... As for the venue, we're looking to change it (Holiday Inn was a great location - just a little pricey). So please suggest some venues in the comments section below and we'll take a vote in a couple of weeks.
